Anemone of Ekosi

The Underwater City of Don'tra is very isolated, with very very few outsiders and even fewer other Star People. Getting through the powerful currents, the dangerous wildlife, and the Great Mother, is a very difficult journey and most don't make it.

Anemone has lived in this city peacefully for all her 15 years of life. She has a mother who is obsessed with underwater animal husbandry and a father, the Shaman of Don'tra, who's obsessed with architecture. Anemone has lived blissfully unaware of the the hardships the upperworld Star People have experienced.

During the events of the Dark World, Anemone met the Moon Pillar team of Riptide, Tailgate, Donatello, Leonardo, and Mama Baba on the outskirts of her underwater home city, Don'tra. She asked them to help her destroy a Galactic Council mining operation that was spewing pollutants into her home, something no one seemed to want to do anything about. She and the Moon Pillar team went to the mine and destroyed it, but there they uncovered an ancient artifact of her extinct creators, the original Star People, and an orb. An artifact that Donnie promptly put his hands on and ended up with strange gauntlets fused to his arms.

Excited and curious about this, Anemone lead the team back to Don'tra to meet her parents, but as they're arriving, ships belonging to the feared Slaverlord Duam fly overhead and immediately begin to capture and put her people into cages to be sold off-world. The team manages to put a stop to this by using Tailgate to draw away the majority of the slavers to take on himself while the rest of the team capture and steal two of the Slaver ships. Current, Anemone's mother, tells them that if Slaverlord Duam is successful in taking the artifact from the Moon Pillar without deactivating the security systems, than the whole Pillar will explode, destroying the city of Don'tra and everything around it. With this knowledge, the Moon Team gathers every Star Person in the city and books it out of there on the slaver ships, leaving Riptide behind because he could not bear the idea of leaving Tailgate to his fate.

Anemone and the turtles travel to a small village in search of someone called Chief Main, a legendary Avatar of Justice who Current tells them to bring the orb, which she says can be used to power a powerful creature called the Powakan. They meet Chief Main, and she tells them of her part in the overall plan, of her alliance with Megatron to use the Powakan and the corrupted Titan, Aureole Memoria, to destroy the Insectkin home planet, The Hive. The shadow of genocide passes over them, but Anemone is able to plead with Chief Main to back down, and convince her that vengeance will destroy who they, the Star People, are at their core.

With disaster avoided, Donnie is able to take control of the Powakan, after some difficulty, and they drive the enormous centipede guardian into battle of Titans. The Powakan got the finishing blow on the Avatar of Unicron in the final battle, and Aureole Memoria was able to fly away from the Planet of Ekosi.

Anemone and the turtles parted ways shortly after that, but Anemone would call up Donnie some time later with a proposal for a cool mission. Surely, it's just a research
